On the third floor of Chicago’s showroom on Superior Street, an inspiring exhibition of the best in contemporary surfaces introduced visitors to the refined integrity and coherent style of Brix design.

Luminaire was pleased to welcome Claudio La Viola, avant-garde designer and one of the elite few chosen to create surfaces and shapes for Brix. During an intimate evening reception, La Viola toured guests through the exhibition, sharing stories about his collaboration with Brix and the philosophy behind his work. Luminaire clients learned of the potential command of surfaces to any refined space, whether commercial or residential.

The exhibition also included an installation of Claudio Silvestrin’s work for Brix, Frammenti, an exceptional surface of jointless, uninterrupted fluidity. Other designers whose work was on view included Andree Putman, Matti Frignani, Roberto and Ludovica Palomba, and Giampaolo Benedini.

McCormick Place, Chicago, North America’s premier conventional center, likewise entertained the Coverings Fair April 21 – 24, including an inspiring display by Luminaire and Brix.
