Bertoia Asymmetrical Chaise
Harry Bertoia
In prototype form since the early 1950s, the newly released Asymmetric chaise serves now as the most recent member of the Bertoia seating family. Recognized most notably for its light, unusual shape and bent wire frame, the Asymmetric chaise is a product of Harry Bertoia's experimentation with then-novel production techniques where metal rods were bent and welded to create unique seating structures. The chaise, now an icon in its own right, is available for indoor and outdoor use and with or without a seat cushion in a number of different finishes.
