Like all natural products, the structure of the material changes depending on how the product is treated. The Grano yarn has a short pile and the structure can open up and show a less granular appearance. This change is a natural process and is one of the special features of this quality. The degree of change can be reduced by following the maintenance routine below. It can also be minimised in the areas where heel shuffle or turning occurs by turning the rug regularly. It must be noted that if the yarn opens up, the core colour becomes more visible, which results in a slightly different look. Grano has been tested by TNO and is suitable for both the private and contract market. This rug can be used with under-floor heating.
