With the intention of designing elements for table settings, paying special attention to chinaware, Pieter Stockman set up Studio Pieter Stockmans in 1987. His studio specializes in handicraft products that are made in small series. To develop new products he begins with the raw material, porcelain, and specializes in making very thin, transparent products with unglazed outsides so that the user has direct contact with the material's texture. Perfect for serving either coffee or tea, this vessel has a gently curved handle and removable lid. Cups and plates sold separately.
