Valenta belongs to the Basics collection which represents the origin of the work of Anna Torf. She begins with basic forms like cylinders, spheres, and drops and alters them using cuts, overlays of colors, and other techniques. It is a timeless collection that breathes serenity and purity. All of her work is handmade in the Czech Republic and is infused with her wonder at how the techniques of glass blowing, cutting and sanding, which have hardly changed over the past 200 years, can lead to contemporary objects.
