Throughout the years, the Kassamalis have been consistently recognized for their contributions, including their commitment to promoting good design as well as the architectural significance of the company's offices and showrooms.

2010 - AIA Florida presents the Bob Graham Architectural Awareness Award to Nasir and Nargis Kassamali

2009 - Nasir Kassamali recognized with the Italian Trade Commission's Business and Culture Award

2008 - Coral Gables showroom honored with the Test of Time Award (25 Years) from the Miami Chapter of the AIA

2007 - Nasir and Nargis Kassamali named Florida Design Legends by the Wolfsonian-FIU

2002 - Nasir and Nargis Kassamali nominated as Chrysler Design Award's Design Champions

2001 - Corporate Office earns Awards of Excellence from both the AIA Florida and the Miami Chapter of the AIA

1996 - Coral Gables showroom wins the Test of Time Award (10 Years) from the AIA Florida

1993 - Nasir and Nargis Kassamali presented with the Design Leadership Award by the Miami chapter of the AIGA

1984 - Coral Gables showroom garners Design Excellence Awards from both the AIA Florida and the Miami Chapter of the AIA

Additional recognition has come from national and international publications including Intramuros, Abitare, Interni, Interiors and The Miami Herald, as well as Metropolitan Home, which named Nasir Kassamali in their “Design 100” as one of the most important design leaders worldwide.

Serving on the prestigious International Honorary Council of Altagamma, an association of leading Italian design companies, Nasir Kassamali has also acted on the Advisory Boards of the AIGA, FIU's School of Architecture and Design, and is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Wolfsonian-FIU in addition to participating as a frequent member of design juries, including those for Metropolis, ID Magazine's Annual Design Awards, SaloneSatellite's Design Report Awards, the German Design Council and the Industrial Society of America's annual IDEA Awards.
