During Miami Art Week, design aficionados gathered at Luminaire Lab to celebrate diversity at the opening reception of Evergreen Brasil, a special collaborative exhibition between Casa Vogue Brasil and Luminaire Lab that will continue on exhibit until December 31, 2016. The exhibition featured a curated selection of multidisciplinary design including furniture, accessories and jewelry from both emerging and established designers.

More than 500 guests gathered to recognize Brazilian’s vibrant and expressive design identity. The exhibit featured works by Brazilian design masters Jorge Zalszupin, Fernando and Humberto Campana, Claudia Moreira Salles and jewelry designer Antonio Bernardo, alongside established talents such as Marcelo Rosenbaum, Marcio Kogan and Arthur Casas as well as young emerging names that include Ana Neute, Carol Gay, Pedro Paulo Venzon and Guilherme Wentz. Although it is difficult to categorize design styles by their origin or country, there is one common link between all Brazilian designers and that is their ability to always create and produce fresh and everlasting pieces with a special dose of respect to nature and its resources ? truly evergreen.

In attendance were several world-renowned design and architecture icons such as the Italian masters Gaetano Pesce and Piero Lissoni who conversed with guests and exchanged design ideas with the young emerging Brazilian design talents that were present such as Carol Gay, and Guilherme Wentz, in addition to Italia design community members including Marva Griffin, Founder and Curator of Salone Satellite at Salone del Mobile,

Luminaire is proud to be a resource for discovering and stimulating discussions on good design.
