The sensation of an enveloping embrace relished in a relaxing situation. This is the evocative image that inspired Damian Williamson, the designer, in conceptualizing the Botero sofa whose intent is instinctively intuited: the continuity of overlapping horizontal bands defining the armrests and backrest, integrating structure and stuffing, with a slight inclination that indulges the body and provides ample support even without cushions, the backrest and seat returning to easily accessible and harmonious proportions. The cover is available in fabric or leather that, through a series of hidden seams, defines the structure whilst preserving the convenience of a removable cover. Slender aluminum alloy legs support the generous and plush form. Modularity makes it as suitable for compact solutions as for big compositions.
