At Luminaire, we collaborate with the most pre-eminent designers, architects, design companies and luminaries who are transforming the world with design that envelopes the body and captures the senses. This month we welcome Salvatori, a name signifying innovation in stone, as the latest addition to our growing community of design partners.

Dedicated to producing the highest quality products, advancing sustainability in its design research and executing forward-thinking practices, this Tuscany-based stone company is a perfect match for Luminaire, having worked closely with some of our partners and close friends, including Claudio SilvestrinJohn PawsonRodolfo DordoniPiero Lissoni and Jean Nouvel.

Unlike traditional stone, Salvatori’s precise cutting allows for easy installation. Salvatori is also unique for its development of Lithoverde, the world’s most sustainable stone. It is not surprising that the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade has recognized the company as the most innovative in the natural stone industry. Salvatori stone can be found in numerous residential settings and high-profile commercial projects, including the cladding of the Museum of Modern Art in New York as well as in the Giorgio Armani store in Shanghai and the Armani Hotels in Dubai and Milan, in addition to New York’s newest Ferragamo boutique.

And now it is also available from Luminaire. Whether in sinks, walls, floors, interior or exterior spaces, we are eager to introduce to you the Salvatori stone collection and the natural elegance it brings to every environment it inhabits.
