The Franco Albini Ottoman is a multi-purpose piece made of ecologically sustainable rattan, the thin pliable stems of palms. An elegant and artistic piece of fine craftsmanship, the Ottoman is distinguished by its spherical shape and linear nest-like design. With a natural skin color, the Franco Albini Ottoman blends harmoniously into any indoor environment.
Manufactured by one of the oldest Scandinavian producers of rattan and wicker furniture, Sika Design takes pride in creating quality and sustainable products for over 70 years. Rattan is one of the fastest growing natural materials that regenerates every 5 to 7 years. Exuding palpable texture, the classic Franco Albini Ottoman was designed by the Italian architect Franco Albini in 1951 who won the distinguished Compasso d'Oro awards three times.
